The WSP63/24 off-load tap changer is a device for connecting and switching transformer tap leads. It is suitable for three-phase oil-immersed power transformers with a rated voltage of 24kV and a rated current ≤63A, installed at the neutral point for off-load voltage regulation. This model features a new design, advanced materials, and low contact resistance.
Key Components:
The off-load tap changer consists of an insulating disk, moving/stationary contacts, operating nuts, terminals, etc. It offers reliable operation, convenient voltage adjustment, high electrical strength, excellent dynamic/thermal stability, and long service life.
Debugging Procedure:
Disconnect all transformer loads and open the drop-out fuse switch.
Use a multimeter to verify no voltage on the low-voltage side.
Adjust the tap position safely, avoiding contact with live terminals.
After adjustment, inspect the site for leftover tools and recheck the output voltage.
